Burundi expels World Health representative

Burundi government declared Walter Kazadi Mwilombo who was the country representative of the World Health Organisation persona non grata, in a verbal note issued by the foreign affairs ministry indicated that the official had 48hrs to leave the country.

“We are honoured to announce that the following personnel are declared persona no grata and consequently they must leave the territory of Burundi before May 15, 2020,” the statement reads.

Walter Kazadi Mwilombo was declared “persona no grata” on Burundi territory with Mr Tarzy Daniel, Ruhana Mirindi Bisimwa, and Jean Pierre Mulunda Nkata, all being experts.
